More from Quinton Dunbar on 710 ESPN Seattle: Dunbar said he already has some experience with the step-kick technique that the Seahawks have their cornerbacks use, adding: "I kind of implemented some of those things in my game years ago." That's notable given the trouble that Cary Williams had adapting to it in 2015. Dunbar said he's worked with some coaches who have been with the Seahawks and mentioned Marquand Manuel specifically. Dunbar and Manuel are both from Miami and played at Florida.

Quinton Dunbar, who requested a trade from Washington before he was dealt to the Seahawks, told 710 ESPN Seattle that his unhappiness wasn't solely due to his contract. It has one year and $3.5 million remaining. "It's not going to be an issue in Seattle," he said. "Before the trade was [made], I had opportunities with a couple of teams and I wanted to go to Seattle ... I feel like it's a perfect situation for me to go out there and play for a team that competes for a championship every year."

Cedric Ogbuehi's one-year deal with the Seahawks has a base value of $2.3 million with $500,000 guaranteed, according to a source. The breakdown: $500,000 signing bonus; $1.3 million base salary; $500,000 in per-game roster bonuses.

Seattle adds speed to WR corps with Dorsett deal

The Seahawks have agreed to a one-year deal with Phillip Dorsett, he told ESPN's Josina Anderson, giving Seattle a veteran option for the No. 3 wide receiver role.

The Seahawks have agreed to terms with Phillip Dorsett on a one-year deal, he told ESPN's Josina Anderson. The 27-year-old Dorsett gives Seattle a veteran option to take over the No. 3 wide receiver behind Tyler Lockett and DK Metcalf. David Moore is also in that mix. There's no shortage of speed in that group with Dorsett running a 4.33 at the 2015 combine, before Indianapolis chose him 29th overall. He caught 29 passes for 397 yards and five touchdowns last season in New England.

The Seahawks have six cornerbacks under contract for 2020 following their trade for Quinton Dunbar, but Dunbar, Shaquill Griffin and Tre Flowers are the only ones with much experience on the outside. Ugo Amadi is a nickelback/free safety while Brian Allen and cornerback/safety Ryan Neal are inexperienced reserves. Seattle's free-agent cornerbacks are Neiko Thorpe, Akeem King, Jeremy Boykins and Kalan Reed.

On Quinton Dunbar's contract, which has one year left: He should count -- for now -- around $3.4 million against the Seahawks' salary cap. Washington is stuck with $1 million in dead money from his signing bonus. Seattle inherits his $3.25 million salary and $250,000 in roster bonuses, not all of which count against the cap right now as he missed five games in 2019. But according to ESPN's John Keim, Dunbar made it known in Washington that he wanted a raise.

One stat that jumps out with Quinton Dunbar, whom the Seahawks acquired in a trade with Washington on Monday: he picked off four passes in 11 games last year. The Seahawks' post-Richard Sherman cornerbacks haven't been very proficient at taking the ball away. Including nickelbacks, Seattle's cornerbacks combined for three interceptions in 2018 and three in 2019. All three last year actually came from Tre Flowers, who may lose his starting job to Dunbar.

While they've been waiting on Jadeveon Clowney, the Seahawks feel they've made their offensive line better with the additions of Brandon Shell, B.J. Finney, Cedric Ogbuehi and Chance Warmack.

The Seahawks agreed to terms with guard Chance Warmack on a one-year deal, a source tells ESPN. He's the fourth O-lineman they've added in free agency following Brandon Shell, B.J. Finney and Cedric Ogbuehi. The 28-year-old Warmack has made 51 starts since he was drafted 10th overall in 2013, but he didn't play in 2019 and was a backup in Philadelphia in 2017 and '18. He's primarily played right guard, where Seattle has D.J. Fluker ($4.1875 million cap charge) under contract for another season.

The Seahawks are expected to re-sign guard Jordan Simmons after non-tendering him as an exclusive rights free agent, a source tells ESPN. ERFA tenders don't allow for split salaries, which Seattle would likely give Simmons given his injury history. The Seahawks non-tendered three others, making them unrestricted free agents: CB Jeremy Boykins, DB Kalan Reed and TE Tyrone Swoopes. They tendered four ERFAs: WR Malik Turner, G Jordan Roos, DB Ryan Neal and DT Bryan Mone.

Seahawks defensive end Bruce Irvin, to 710 ESPN Seattle, on the possibility of playing with Jadeveon Clowney: "Man, we need him. I don't try to get into no contract situations, but he's one of the elite players in the league. It would be a privilege to play with him. I played with Khalil [Mack], who was unbelievable, and Clowney is just as unbelievable. So it would be a privilege and I think we would do a lot of great things this season if they could work those things out. Hopefully they will."

The Seattle Seahawks are bringing back defensive end Bruce Irvin to help turn around one of the NFL's least productive pass-rushing units from last season, he told ESPN's Josina Anderson.

The Seahawks have added their third offensive lineman in the past 24 hours by agreeing to a one-year deal worth up to $3.3 million with Cedric Ogbuehi, according to ESPN's Jordan Schultz. That follows their deals with Brandon Shell and B.J. Finney. The 27-year-old Ogbuehi was a first-round pick in 2015 but hasn't started a game the last two seasons. He's primarily been a left tackle but has also played right tackle and even some tight end last season for the Jaguars.
