Sources: Brawl appeal rulings expected by Wed.

Derrick Brooks and James Thrash are expected to hear and rule upon the appeals of the three players suspended after Thursday night's Steelers-Browns melee no later than Wednesday morning and possibly as early as Tuesday, league sources told ESPN.

Source: Steelers' Rudolph won't take legal action

Steelers quarterback Mason Rudolph will not pursue legal charges or take additional action against Browns defensive end Myles Garrett after Thursday's on-field altercation, a source told ESPN.

Steelers' WR Diontae Johnson suffered a concussion last night on the hit he took from Browns' S Damarious Randall, per source. Johnson, who was bleeding from his ear as he exited the game, will be in concussion protocol and the team will monitor before its Nov. 24 game at Cincy.

I asked Bruce Arians about Thursday night's incident with Myles Garrett and Mason Rudolph. He's coached both of those teams. "There's no place for fighting in this game," Arians said. "For it to happen at the end of a game like that — it's a shame."

Browns' Garrett gets indefinite ban from NFL

The NFL has indefinitely banned Browns DE Myles Garrett for hitting Steelers QB Mason Rudolph in the head with his helmet. Pittsburgh's Maurkice Pouncey (3 games) and Cleveland's Larry Ogunjobi (1 game) have also been suspended.

Rudolph's agent weighs legal options from melee

After Mason Rudolph was struck in the head with his own helmet by Myles Garrett, the Steelers quarterback's agent said no legal options have been ruled out for a potential response. Police said they are not investigating Garrett.
