INDIANAPOLIS, Ind.(AP) -- Brandon Cameron made two free throws
with 10 seconds remaining to lift IUPUI over Southern Utah 67-66 on
The Jaguars trailed 66-63 before David Barlow made a layup with
15 seconds left to pull them within one. A Southern Utah turnover
and foul set up Cameron's game-winning free throws.
IUPUI (8-6, 3-0 Mid-Con) led 33-23 at the half. Southern Utah
shot just under 58 percent in the second half and made 8 of its 11
The Thunderbirds (2-13, 1-2 Mid-Con) took their first lead of
the second half with 2:28 left on Rand Janes' 3-pointer. Janes
finished with a game-high 21 points and had five assists. He was
6-for-9 from 3-point range.
Barlow led the Jaguars with 18 points. George Hill, who injured
his knee in the Jaguars' Jan. 4 win over Oakland and was expected
to miss at least a week, scored 17 points and played 38 minutes.
Cameron finished with 13 points and Brandon Cole scored seven
and pulled down eight rebounds.
