Big night for White Sox rookie Eloy Jimenez, who has homered twice in Houston for his second career multi-homer game. According to ESPN Stats & Info, Jimenez is the third White Sox player during the Live Ball Era with two multi-homer games at age 22 or younger. The other two were Chet Lemon in 1977 and Carlos May in 1969.

I'm probably a little too excited to watch Ryan Feierabend make his Blue Jays debut across the street from the lair of another lefty knuckleballer -- Wilbur Wood of the White Sox. Great nugget from ESPN Stats & Info on this: Feierabend is making his first big league start since Sept. 23, 2008 with the Mariners. He faced the Angels in that game, and Vladimir Guerrero Sr. batted cleanup for the Halos. Vlad Jr. is Feierabend's third baseman today.
